Grover Beach

Hugging Hwy 1, and nestled between Oceano, Pismo Beach and Arroyo Grande; Grover Beach is known as the gateway to the largest remaining dune system south of San Francisco.  An 18-mile stretch of coastline, with undulating golden sand dunes located in the State Vehicular Recreation area, is popular for ATV off-roading recreation, RV camping and bonfires on the beach. Dogs are welcomed on a leash and for the equestrians, what could be more inviting that a ride along the surf's edge.

Grover Beach, one of the Five Cities is central to all the happenings being surrounded by its sister cities, and for those who don't know the area well, it's often difficult to know when you've left one city and entered another, but easy to enjoy the benefits of the all.

Visit the Monarch Butterfly Grove with the kids, where tall eucalyptus and Monterey cypress trees provide shelter for the migrating Monarch butterflies or be entertained during an evening at the Great American Melodrama, or explore the scenic boardwalk and grab a bit to eat at a choice of casual eateries.  Hope in the car and check out some local wineries or kick back and enjoy the scenic beauty of the place.

Gateway to the Dunes

How about a game of golf at the Pismo Beach Golf Course which despite its name is really located in Grover Beach and features a nine-hole course only steps from the ocean.

Grover Beach is a friendly seaside community for outdoor lovers and adventurers and those who enjoy coastal living and simply said, it's a great place to live, work and play.

Surrounded by its sister cities, everything one needs is within proximity and only a 20- minute drive to San Luis Obispo. Hop on a train at the Grover Beach train station, or a 20 minute drive to the Santa Maria airport or San Luis Obispo airport. Easy access no matter how you travel.
